Title

             Thinking of a title for research proposal,it was quite tough. Focus always runaway. Wanting one title that is related to subject mathematics. It has been few weeks of searching on a title. Finally, decided to use mind-mapping software to do brainstorming on title. From the survey, found out that research can be categorized into five groups such as Research in Numerical Analysis,Research in Mathematical logic,Research in Probability and Statistics,Research in Pure mathematics and finally Research in Applied mathematics.  

              The next things to do would be choosing a category and refine a title. Research in applied mathematics is quite interesting, however it is more relating mathematics to engineering field. Research in Pure mathematics might be the one picked. So what can pure mathematics do practically? Pure mathematics building tools that physicists, biologists, computer scientists will be using.

Blocked Social Network

Finally, my organization blocked all social networks.User were not able to login to chat system also. User like me, bring along self-subscription broadband only able to online. The hot social website right now should be no others than Face-book and twitter.

Remember many years ago,not too long, about ten years ago, during the time there were no social network like friendster, Hi5, etc.The hot network many years ago was the chating system.There are MSN messenger,yahoo chat,AOL chat,etc. Later there came in webcam.  Webcam is interesting.There were critic that time that webcam reveal too much on a person life.Thinking of getting one webcam as well. However, aborted. Later, the chatting system were blocked by some organization also where communication with others had to be through emailing, the most traditional way in this time.

Today, people don't care so much about privacy like the time webcam get critic where it reveal a person activities online. Still, I believe people are caution and aware in posting photos and personal details online.

Water fall at Fraser Hill. 

Few years ago, Soon and I went to Fraser Hill. We took a cab to this waterfall site. By that time, it was ten in the morning. The place got no visitor. Water was splashing from the top. I was in a nearby hut.

After that, I went to a river.Clear water was flowing along.Giant rock holding back the river water from  flowing too fast. Yet, the water keep on flowing by bringing along the happiness and memories of the river.

New Year 2010

       Today is 1 February 2010. It is a holiday for the country state capital, Kuala Lumpur (KL).Also known as Federal State. Many years ago, I studied in this state for three years. After that, worked for 2 to 3 years in the capital state as well. The state is a happening place. I love KL. I  had a great time living in KL. Those many years ago happening, about 10 years ago. Today is year 2010. It's a glimpse of eye. A month ended for year 2010. 

        Months after months by pass,years after years ended. The Lunar New Year is around the corner. It is next week, another new year for lunar calendar.It is the year of Tiger. Next year will be year of dragon for which I was born in year of dragon. It is already closed to 12 year multiply 3 (12 x 3). Meaning that, by next year, I already gone through 3 times 12 years. So, can you guess how old am I?

        I want to grip each moment and each seconds but I can't.  I want to accomplish mission by mission.Yet,sometimes felt the toughness within. However,thank god, I was finally finished my postgraduate studies( one quarter years). There are so many thoughts in me to do for this years. However, I am too laze to do. I do not want to do anything. But, I am too afraid the time might flee and in the end, i am nothing for the person I am as now.

        Thus, my long term plan for this year: 

1.         Spiritual growth
2.         Studies
3.         Photography

Short term plan for this year :

1. Research papers
2. Learn piano
3. Weight reduce (5 -10kg)

     If by god's blessing, I am able to have the strength to accomplish these goals.

        What happen when you was not able to sign into your email account and social network account one day?

        Yesterday I was not able to login to Facebook and mail yahoo account. The first feeling is a bit scare. It sound impossible. How come I can feel scare when was not able to login to Hotmail and g-mail also. I am so pessimist to think that i will not be able to login for months or years or forever. I might get disconnect and lost information. 

        Though using the public network also was not allow me to login into those accounts. I just give up. The hand is crammed to type in password. Finally only i got the message from the broadband subscriber stating that the quota limit 1G is finished usage for this whole month of January 2010.A bad news. Again , another almost end of the world for me.

         The next though came, never mind; I got public network to use. The first things to login today is the Facebook account. Thank god because I was able to login to check for the relevance. Prior to this, last two days i was thinking that i am spending too much of time online for these junk. I should not be allowed to login to these accounts ; if this happen , I will stop reading and replying on junk.

 The broadband subscriber message make me to think what i had spent so much of bytes downloading files, games, music and photos browsing. All these used up the pity 1G which paid for RM 68.00 monthly. Plus, the line is very slow in my lodging in 12 miles,Kuantan,Pahang. Disconnected itself suddenly. Poor service. Not worth to pay for.       

            

Lesson learnt: Stop to get lost in social networking .Stop limit yourself in virtual world. There is something missing between real and virtual world. 

         

Review on Avatar 2009

 Before show time:

             Went to watch Avatar yesterday morning because it was a holiday for me. When I arrived the cinema doorstep, a group of students from my college was there. Checked the time for showing, at 11:15am; still got 45 minutes before show. Went to take breakfast at the nearby food court. Again, another group of them was there buying drink a counter. At first, didn't know it was them; until noticed one of them from my class. After buying some bread and drink, went to buy the show ticket. Once reached there and waiting for turn at the counter of the ticket selling; spotted another of the  college student. The time want to enter the theater, another group was queuing behind me again.

Technology dream:

             Avatar show was a great show with 3D effect in this new East coast mall's theater.  I really want to praise the concept of the technology. Technology evolving so tremendously that so many fantastic ideas coming up. I believe the virtual world of  Avatar which can be accessible through dream can one day be implemented with the hardworking of scientist and researcher. The ideas alone really impress me! I like it very much.

              The virtual world in dream but a real world out there. I believe the creation of the world before human sinned against god ; it was such a beautiful environment of the jungle with trees glittering and colorful creatures. After the fall of human, the god washed the earth with flood water and the world no more beautiful as before. This is the most worst part of human because we now was not able to view the beauty built at the beginning of the world. However in this show, the world was deteriorate because of the act of human by demolishing the jungle  with gigantic air force and man-made machine robots. As a result, the air that we can breath in freely no more in that world. Human had to depend on oxygen- supplication machine to breath in oxygen, else death is follow after that.
